Event Security
Events come in many forms, whether small annual meetings or big red carpet events, and each needs its own security plan which is dynamic, fluid and constantly evolving.
To be safe and successful, an understanding must be reached between the event organiser and the security provider. A balance between maximising the event’s exposure while ensuring the occasion remains safe and secure for VIPs, staff, guests and public.
Security delivery involves numerous variables and options. A security director with a keen understanding of objective delivery must be capable of adjusting options to maintain flexibility in response to shifting demands. We will adapt to changing organiser requirements while ensuring that both strategic and operational objectives are met.
Sceptre have extensive experience of protecting both large and small scale events domestically and internationally in diverse threat environments. From London to Johannesburg, Berlin, Madrid, Lagos to Stockholm and beyond, Sceptre have delivered safe and secure events such as Royal film premieres, international sporting events, festivals, music events, shareholder AGMs and movie launches for popular streaming platforms.
The Terrorism Protection of Premises Bill, also known as Martyn’s Law, is expected to reach the statute book in 2024. It is a measure that imposes requirements on the preparedness for, and protection from, terrorist attacks on events and activities. Sceptre Protection has already been operating within the anticipated guidelines for the past five years. Both its directors have decades of experience as Counter Terrorism Security managers in the public sector and are qualified in the private sector through Cumbria University Advanced Diplomas as Counter Terrorism Risk managers.
