Close Protection

Here at Sceptre we offer a multi-layered security package to mitigate risk, and close protection is the final and most important of those layers for the VIP asset.

To be fully effective, the close protection operative must be highly skilled in several disciplines, including an ability to identify, absorb and process information very quickly, a comprehensive situational awareness of risk and the ability to make sound judgements in the interests of the client.

The operative must also allow the client to go about their business unhindered, while constantly assessing when it is necessary to intervene.

Other requirements include a good understanding of the law, an ability to anticipate the principal’s needs, to plan for contingencies and to communicate effectively but with discretion.
